It’s been a minute, but one of my goals for this year is to spend more time writing, so I figured, what better place to start than here, right?!
A quick intro, I’m Vanessa, a late forty-something lady, who still sees a young twenty something lady when I look in the mirror – not so much physically, but mentally!! I am a wife of 25 years, a mama of three kids, ranging in ages from 23 to 9, and a small business owner. I have a creative brain, with tons of ideas constantly running through it, but don’t always have the best follow through – another thing I hope to work on this year. I love fabric, textiles old and new, and sewing. I learned how, around 2008, and haven’t stopped since. I sell fabric and crafts, and love it so much that sometimes it’s hard to part with the fabric I sell – I’m working on that too!
I make lots of short video tutorials and share them with my community on Instagram and TikTok, but will be posting full length tutorials here, in case anyone needs a bit more guidance. I’m definitely not trying to reinvent the wheel here. I know there are tons of video tutorials on YouTube for many of the things I’ll be sharing here, but I’m gonna do it anyway.
That’s enough about me for now. I look forward to getting to know you and sharing a bit about what inspires me.
